I am new to this forum and I write from Italy. I would buy "TomTom In The Hand" to interact with an application, which I developed in C # on Windows Mobile 5.0, with the Tom Tom Navigator. But first I would like to understand if it supports certain features.
What I need is:

1) start my application and a menu of this, I choose the
Navigation assisted by Tom Tom.
2) Start Tom Tom and what usually (in a frame of
My application or in the usual display).
3) At a certain point of interest, control returns to
My application.

If this can not be done, the solution should be good following:
1) Start Tom Tom and doing what it usually does.
2) At a certain point of interest, start my application.

The product provides access to all the features of the TomTom SDK. You can start the navigator application, you can not run it in a frame, you have to run it full screen and switch back and forth to your application. There are no events when you reach a POI so you would have to poll for the distance between your current position and the POI and then switch control back to your app when this goes below a certain threshold.

I developed with TomTom In The Hand, an application in C # that starts navigation with the TomTom, to a certain POI.
Now I need to close the TomTom and restore control to the main application when the navigation is 100 meters (or less) from the POI. How can I do?

TomTom doesn't expose events when a destination is reached, you can periodically check the RouteInfo to see the remaining distance to the destination, if this is below your threshold you can either close TomTom altogether, or bring your own application window to the foreground.
