Can you please tell me how to use DownloadState in EmailMessage?

actually my problem is i am calling notification method to update some specific mails, my notification method is  invoked but the mail is not updating, if i send another mail then the last email is updating. I guess it is not updating because the mail is not completly downloading, if i test it with some messagebox with some messages, then it updating first time. So i want to use DownloadState and i want to invoke my updating method once the incoming mail is completly downloaded. How to get the status of the incomming message? Please give me suggestions

We are using inthehand 3.1 version dll, we have purchased the inthehand mobile dll.
