Hello people

 I did a program that run in background. So, when the user press the button to turn off the screen, my app sleep until user press again the same button.

Anybody knows any way to prevent my app enter in sleep mode? I saw that "Windows media player" keep running when the user press the same button because the song keep playing.

You could look at the SetPowerRequirement API which allows you to request a minimum power level for a specific device. This can be used for example to require the backlight remains lit when you play a video, or keep the audio system on to play music. There is an old VB.NET example here:-

Do you know how to keep a progam running with backlight turn off and sleep mode turn on ?

I tried a thread with highest priority but when the pda's sleep is turn on, my program freeze.
